originally this was going to be a theme for PM (called Plenipotent Mutt) but it sort of became something else. i see it as a theme for the Disciple after the Signless’s execution: first her quiet mourning after escaping, fading into her sorrow—only to be seized by determination, going against the Condescension and hiding in the shadows to spread the Signless’s message. even in the face of danger she is stoic and refuses to be deterred from her goal. only in sleep does she allow herself to think of the man she still serves, even apart from him. “apóstolos”—the one who is sent away.
